Nanoparticles have been used in many areas of life, including medicine, due to the properties they possess that distinguish them from conventional particles. In the current study, Nano chitosan-paracetamol was synthesized, and the synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using FT-IR and 1H-NMR techniques. A drug was created using a variety of properties, and its anticancer properties against lung cancer A549 cell lines were investigated in vitro. It was determined what kinds of linkages existed between amino acids and nano-chitosan medications. The outcomes demonstrated how well the medications work to stop cancer cells from spreading. The effect of nano-chitosan on the toxicity of lung cancer cells (A549) was shown only with an IC50 = 137.87 µg/ml. However, when paracetamol was loaded onto nano-chitosan, better results were achieved, with a toxicity of lung cancer cells (A549) with an IC50 = 109.49 µg/ml. The result of gene expression of p53 gene for the control group was (1.00 + 0.0 N=3) and when exposed to nano chitosan only, a significant mutation appeared and the result was (2.933 + 0.2028 N=3) but when exposed to the prepared nano drug, the result became (4.100 + 0.1528 N=3). The rationale is the pressing requirement that the medication maintain its benefits for an extended duration until it more effectively reaches particular body parts without endangering other body parts. When the synthesis of Nano-Chitosan-Paracetamol was tested for biological activity, it was found to be highly successful in preventing the lung cancer cells from spreading quickly.
